== Biography == Christiaan was born about 1752 according to the marriage record of his daughter Maria Magdalena Jacobs. His parents were unknown and the place where he was born is unknown. Christiaan married Janna Porreij before 1779. He is the father of 2 children. He passes away on october 22, 1816.

==Research Note==Checked the books to see if he was a member of the Dutch Reformed Church, he wasn't a member. Only his wife Janna was a member and his daughter Maria Magdalena Jacobs were members of the Dutch Reformed Church. I checked the Roman Catholic baptism book which covered also Cassandria or Cadzand. So he is not born in Cadzand if he was Roman Catholic. He could be a Mennonite. I hope to find more about him when I actually visit the archive. <p>== Sources ==
