Inscription
Sacred to the memory of Chloe V. Fry wife of James H. Fry, departed this life April 7, 1830, in the 25th year of her age. Erected by her surviving husband, that he may record here that she was an affectionate and devoted wife, a kind and charitable neighbor, and watchfull and tender mother, a dutiful daughter, and a Christian, sincere, resigned and patient, with the hope that her children may come to it as to the shrine of virtue and resolve to "go and do likewise"
