Soden Jr., Chester Myron “Chet”, 76, of St. Petersburg died Tuesday, (April 22, 2003) at home.  He was born in Jamesburg, New Jersey.  He came to the area from Englishtown, NJ.  He served in the US Navy as a Seaman during WWII.  He was a supervisor for the Sanitation Department for the City of St. Petersburg until he retired.  He was a member of Christ United Methodist Church in St. Petersburg.  He was an avid fisherman, repaired fishing reels and made custom fishing rods.  He was a member of the American Legion Post 434 in Englishtown, NJ.  Survivors include; 3 daughters, Barbara Rasiewicz, Kathleen Lillie and Bonnie Shea all of St. Petersburg; 1 son, Michael Soden of East Windsor, NJ; one sister, Margaret Olynyk of Bayville, NJ; 8 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
