BAER, Chester, age 83 who resided at 3230 W. Maplewood, passed away in a local hospital August 26, 1981. He had been a life time resident of Bellingham and was a commercial fisherman. He leaves to survive 2 daughters, Chestella McCann of Bellingham; Donna Carlson of Oklahoma; 2 sons, Chester Baer, Jr. of Auburn; & Michael (Rooks) Baer of Sedro Woolley; 1 sister, Rosetta Sackett of Bellingham; 13 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; numerous nieces & nephews. Memorials may be made to the Bellingham Paramedic Unit. Funeral services will be held Friday, August 28, 10:30 am at Veroske, Jerns & LeVeck Funeral Chapel, cremation to follow. [He was born Nov. 20, 1897 at Ferndale and was a World War II veteran.]
