Obituary: Charlotte Kerr High Point Mrs. Charlotte Sexton Kerr, 84, of 701 S. Elm St. died April 21, 2000, at the Human Service Alliance in Winston-Salem . Mrs. Kerr was born in Alleghaney County on June 6, 1915 to the late Willia m Floyd and Kate Holloway Sexton. She was retired from Silver Knit Hosiery. She was a member of the Southside Baptist Church and Faithful Workers Class. On Ma rch 29, 1947, she married James G. Kerr, who preceded her in death in 1984. Mrs . Kerr also was preceded in death by a sister, Ruth Sexton Huyler. Surviving are two sisters, Ora Lee Leonard of High Point and Margaret Presnell of Virgin ia; one stepsister, Juanita Cates of High Point; and several nieces and nephews . Funeral will be 11 a.m. Tuesday in the Chapel of Cumby Family Funeral Serv ice, Archdale, by the Rev. Bynum Orr. Interment will follow in Floral Garden Pa rk Cemetery. Visitation will be 7-8:30 Monday at the funeral home.
