Obituary: Gallatin Democrat, Thursday, May 15, 1890

Died, at home in LIberty tp., May 2nd, 1890, Mrs. Lottie McFee, wife of Mr. Samuel McFee, of cancer. “Aunt Lottie” as she was commonly called, was born Feb. 22nd, 1827 in Licking County, Ohio. She was married in Daviess County August 18th, 1845, to Samuel McFee. She was converted when quite young and lived a consistent Christian life until death. She told her friends she was not afraid to die, her only care was her little grand daughter who is now left along among strangers. She was the mother of six children three of whom still survive.

An insurance form son Given filled out in 1903 indicates she died of breast cancer, which she had had for 3 years.
