    Bio: Charles Allen Little Jim, age 71, of Little Axe, OK passed away Monday, September 9, 2013at his home.He was born January 10, 1942 in Little Axe, Oklahoma to Webster, Sr. and Kathryn (Vinson) Little Jim, Sr.Charles attended Little Axe Elementary, Noble High School, and Oklahoma State University Tech in Okmulgee.He married Lorene Little Axe on August 27, 1962 in Norman.Charles proudly served 4 years in the U. S. Air Force and was stationed at March Air Force Base from 1966 to 1970.He worked as a Diesel Mechanic at Halliburton in Hays, Kansas for 6 years. He returned home to work alongside his dad as a dozer operator for several years before going to work at Tinker Air Force Base as a heavy equipment/crane operator for over 25 years and retiring in 2000.Charles was a member of Grace Place Baptist Church in Oklahoma City. He was a proud member of the Absentee Shawnee Tribe.He was an avid golfer, fisherman, hunter and OU fan. Charles played softball and enjoyed coaching. He had a passion for working and helping people. Charles was active in the Little Axe community, served on the school board and helped build many of the community athletic fields. His all-time favorite thing to do was watch his kids and grandkids play sports and attended as many events as possible. Charles was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle. He was always positive. Charles was the rock and cornerstone of the family, never moving or wavering in his faith. He was devoted to Jesus Christ; always grateful, and thanking the Lord in every prayer.Charles was preceded in death by his parents; brother, JD Little Jim; and infant sister, Patsy Ruth Little Jim.Survivors include his wife Lorene, of the home; son and daughter-in-law, Clint Little Jim and Lisa; daughter and son-in-law, Dina Bread and Mike; son, Chuck Little Jim; brother and sister-in-law, Webster Little Jim, Jr. and Sara; sister by heart, Barbara Little Axe; 6 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and other extended family and friends.
