CALLED BY DEATH
Charles M. Wilke, son of Mr. John Wilke, died on Saturday, June 17, and was buried the following Monday from the German Lutheran Church at Nashua. While it has been generally known that the life of Mr. Wilke had been hanging by a thread, as it were, for several weeks, yet the news of his death came as a distinct shock to the entire community.
Charles M. Wilke was born in Dakota County, Minn., July 7, 1877, and came with his father to Wilkin county in 1879.
Mr. Wilke was married in 1906 to Miss Minnie Miller and four children were born to them all of whom are still living. His death removes from our midst a kind neighbor and a loving Christian husband and father, a man ever ready to help in times of trouble or need and one who will be missed by a host of true friends. The family have the sympathy of all in this section.
