Based upon christening records, it appears that Charles White and Grace Dunbar resided in Penninghame Parish from the time of their marriage in 1733 until October, 1737, and relocated to Sorbie Parish between 1738 and 1740, prior to the birth of their daughter Agnes.

    The White Monument (identified as No. 22 on the Chapple/Birchman map of the cemetery) was erected by William White in memory of various members of his family, including his "father Charles White, also farmer and miller in *Creech* who died in 1779 aged 73 years".
