    2. Rev. Charles Webster, b. Apr. 4, 1793, (mother, Rachel)
    graduated from Union College in 1813 ; and
    Princeton Theological Seminary, 1817;
    installed Pastor of the Presbyterian Church, at Hempstead, L.I., in March, 1818, where he remained for nearly 20 years.
    He then preached about one year at Bloomsburg, N.J., and Nov. 7, 1838, was settled over the congregation at Middletown Point (now Matteawan), N.J., where he remained for ten years.

    He mar. June 4, 1818, Jane Wilson Brant, b. Sept. 27, 1793, second daughter of Capt. William and Elizabeth Brant, of Conn. Farms, N.J.

    He died Dec. 28, 1862, at Middletown Point, N.J., aged 69 ; and she at Bellville, N.J., July 14, 1866, aged 72.
