Charles Urtin, 85, of North Huntingdon, formerly of Harrison City, died Wednesday, April 18, 2007, in Juniper Village, North Huntingdon. He was born Dec. 25, 1921, in White Valley, a son of the late Michael and Anna (Duriscoe) Urtin. Prior to his retirement, he was employed as a carpenter for Union Local 462 in Greensburg. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and was a member of the Jeannette American Legion Post #344. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Anna (Heasley) Urtin, in 1995; and six brothers. He is survived by a son, Charles G. Urtin and wife, Carol, of Penn Township; and daughter, Aldean Rosensteel and husband, Ken, of Madison; a granddaughter, Merry Deyarmin and husband Thomas; two great-grandchildren, Brieanna and Nicholas; and two sisters, Helen Farruggia, of Export, and Anna Gross, of Ambridge.
