Some TESTARDs did migrate from France to Canada in the early days. Charles TESTARD, sieur de Folleville (see above) was one of them. He was the son of Jean TESTARD and Anne GODEFROY, and came from St-Vincent in the city, district and archbishopric of Rouen in Normandie. His marriage to Anne LAMARQUE was celebrated in Montreal on 8Feb1666. This couple had 9 children, incl Jean TESTARD dit Forville and dit Papineau.
