Settled in Wethersfield 1643 or earlier, sold his lot there to Josiah Churchill, and soon removed to Fairfield, where he d. in 1658. John Burr bought land in Fairfield from Charles and Michael Taintor, 1656. Inv. 20 Oct. 1658; presented by John Banks as Estate "his father Tainter hath left in Fairfield."
