Charles C.R. Stouffer of North Irwin, died at 10:15 o'clock Monday morning in the Westmoreland Hospital where he had been a patient for 13 days. He was born June 8, 1884, in Altoona. He was a former machinist for the Pennsylvania Railroad retiring in 1949. Surviving are his widow, Mabel M. Loughner Stouffer; his mother, Mrs. Hattie Stouffer, of Winter Haven, Fla.; a son John, of North Irwin, and a daughter, Mrs. John L. Long, of North Irwin. Three granddaughters and a brother, Chester A. Stouffer, of Edgewood, also survive. He was a member of the First Methodist Church, of Irwin, and the Knights of Pythias, 415, of Irwin. Friends will be received at his home, 12 Lincoln avenue, North Irwin. Fueneral services will be held at 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon in charge of Rev. James Gaiser. Interment will be in Irwin Union cemetery.
