STEINER's Grocery was founded by Charles William STEINER, Sr sometimes after 1910. C. W. STEINER had shut down his bakery and gone to work for Peoples bakery. His wife was pregnant with Rosamond STEINER. She had told her husband to bring home some chocolates. She was sitting on the front poarch with C. W. Jr when he arrived home. He had forgotten the chorales. Thus Rosamond STEINER was marked with a chorale birth mark.
