Charles Smith was born in 1881 at Luton, the son of Sarah Smith formerly Benning and her husband James Smith. Charles appears in the 1891 and 1901 censuses living with his parents and siblings. He was working in an iron foundry at the time of the 1901 census.
Charles has yet to be traced after 1901.
