It reads: "Charles Duel Seaver, 79 "Lebanon - Charles Duel Seaver, 79, of Lebanon OH formerly of Muncie, IN, died Monday October 31, 2005. "Born November 5, 1925 in Worcester, MA to Maurice and Edith (nee: Duel) Seaver, he was US Naval Air Corp volunteer serving in World War II. "He was a life member and past president of ASHRAE and was awarded the Sagamore of the Wabash by Governor Frank O'Bannon in 1999. "A graduate of Worcester Polytechnic Institute, he retired in 1990 from Ball State University after 10 years as an engineer. "Preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Philip R., Owen L., and Maurice E. Seaver, Jr, and one sister, Irene Seaver; survivors include his wife of 57 years, Catherine (nee: Clark) Seaver of Lebanon, one son, James C. Seaver of Monson, ME, two daughters, Ellen S. Eveland of Huber Heights, OH and Laura S. Capranica of Huntersville, NC, and five grandchildren. "Visitation will be Friday November 4, 2005 from 1-2 p.m., with a memorial service immediately following, all at the Otterbein-Lebanon United Methodist Chapel. Arrangements by the Oswald-Hoskins Funeral Home, Lebanon." |
