Charles W. Palmer, 84, died Sunday, Feb. 1, 2015. It seems fitting of a retired pastor that he died during the Sunday morning services. He is survived by his wife of eight years, Germaine Palmer; and his brother, Jack Palmer. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Elsie Palmer, of 53 years. Charles devoted most of his life toward serving God and God's children, so his life was well spent. He is also survived by two daughters, Linda Swartz and Valerie Refi; son, William Palmer; 11 grandchildren; and three stepchildren, Gail, Lucy and Dennis. Charles pastored in Bedford County alone for 17 years. Charles is home at last with his beautiful, beautiful Savior.
