Charles Augustus Ohr, 74, of Greensburg, died Thursday, Jan. 6, 2005, at home. He was born Oct. 31, 1930, in Greensburg, a son of the late George Franklin and Sara (Loughner) Ohr. He was a lifelong Model T Ford enthusiast who, in 1964, drove the car to Alaska, and was also a member of the Antique Automobile Association of America and former member of the Greensburg Kiwanis Club. Charles was a faithful Christian and member of Cornerstone Ministries in Export. He was a faithful friend to many and a loving father and husband. He owned and operated Ohr's Garage in Hempfield Township for 41 years. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved son, Mark A. Ohr; and brother, George Franklin Ohr Jr. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Elizabeth (Caldwell) Ohr; a son, Paul Ohr and wife, Marilyn; a grandson, Luke; a stepgrandson, Victor; a sister-in-law, Dorothy Ohr; a niece, Gerry Hoffman; and a nephew, Donald Ohr. Family and friends will be received Sunday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the KEPPLE-GRAFT FUNERAL HOME INC., 524 N. Main St., Greensburg. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home Monday at 10 a.m. with Pastor Ronald Jordan officiating.
