I am the McQuinn list administrator and the coordinator for the MacQueen-McQueen-McQuinn DNA Study. http://imdnas.googlepages.com/home. So, I am actively working on many related and unrelated McQuinn and McQueen lines as my time allows.

My first interest in the McQuinn variation was Charles McQuinn (c1740-c1796) of Culpeper County, VA and Wilkes County, NC and Ezekiel McQuinn (1767-1849) of Fauquier County, VA, Oldham County, KY and Johnson County, IN.

Charles is most likely the Charles McQueen executor of the will of Alexander McQueen, Sr., written 1774, of Culpeper County, VA. Ezekiel is the son of John McQueen. John is mentioned in the same will of Alexander McQueen, Sr. So Charles McQuinn and John McQueen/McQuinn were half brothers.

I believe I descend from John, but I need more documentation to prove the relationship between John and my ancestor Samuel McQueen (c1760-c1819) of Culpeper County, VA.
