Notes

Some researchers claim that Charles had a middle initial of "M", based upon a purported transcription [by a Mrs. Georgia Youngblood] of a land deed in 1818, but after careful examination of the microfilm by McGlothlen family researcher Don McGlothlen, his name did not show any middle initial, nor have any other records of Charles that Mr. McGlothlen has examined.
