Marie Margaret MACINDOE, eldest daughter of the late Patrick Park Macindoe of Parkhill, Dalmuir, and Charles Hardy LITTLE, jnr., of Demerara, were married at St. Mary’s Cathedral, Glasgow, by the groom’s uncle Rev. E. G. H. Little, Inverary, 29jul1909 (Times). Charles Hardy Little (b. 1874) was son of Charles Hardy Little, MA, TCD (b. 1845), vicar at Somerset, St. Petersberg, Brighton, and Mary Ellen (m. 1873), daughter of Bryan Padgett ?Gregbon, JP, DL, of Caton, (Lancs?) (web). Charles Hardy Little married Mary Ellen Gregson 3rd qtr 1873 at Lunesdale, Lancs, which includes Caton; Charles Hardy Little was b. 3rd qtr 1874, Windsor, Berks (bmd, ancestry.com tree). Rev Charles Hardy Little, St. Martins Vicarage, Brighton, Sussex, was executor of Rev George Edward Willis (Burnham, Bucks) in 1901 (GWR shareholder, findmypast). In 1891 Charles H. Little (1846 Ireland, vicar), wife Mary E. (1840 Bolton, Lancs), son Charles H. (1875 Clewer, Berks) were at Brighton, Sussex (census). From “Families of French of Belturbet” p. 161: John Little of Stewartstown, Tyrone, and Slough, Bucks, marr 1831 Emily Higinbotham Kyle, and had a son, Charles Hardy Little, MA, TCD, (b. apr1845), vicar at Brighton. Charles married Mary Ellen Gregson, dau of Bryan Padgett Gregson, JP, DL, of Caton, Lancs. Charles and Mary had a son Charles Hardy Little (b. 18jun1874). Rev. William John Knox Little (b. 1839) and Rev. Emilius George Higinbotham Little, MA, TCD, rector of Inverary, were brothers of Charles (1845). Charles died 1910 (J. Aglen). Charles, a planter in Mauritius, may have been related through Isabella McNair Black (b. 1838) who married M. Little.
