    Charles "Chuck" Ross Laughner, 82, Kokomo, passed away at 11:20 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 4, 2010, at his residence. He was born June 28, 1928, in Clinton County, to Russell Laughner and Ellen (Uitts) Laughner. On Oct. 25, 1952, in South Bend, he married Hazel M. (Campbell) Laughner. She preceded him in death on April17, 2000. He had worked for Stellite in Kokomo for many years then later went on to work for Delco Electronics. He was a member of the UAW local 292, and enjoyed golfing. Survivors include companion, Sandy Guge, Kokomo; stepson, Tom Redmon, Houston, Texas; daughter, Debbie and husband Brian King, Greentown; daughter, Lou Ellen Brown, Oviedo, Fla.; brother, Larry and wife Sandy Laughner, Frankfort; four grandchildren, Brean King, Heather Brown, Andrew Brown, and Connor Brown; four nieces and two nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, Howard Laughner; and a sister, Ermal

    Charles "Chuck" Ross Laughner, 82, Kokomo, passed away at 11:20 a.m. Saturday, September 4, 2010, at his residence.

    He was born June 28, 1928, in Clinton County, to Russell Laughner and Ellen (Uitts) Laughner. On Oct. 25, 1952, in South Bend, he married Hazel M. (Campbell) Laughner. She preceded him in death on April 17, 2000.

    Survivors include companion, Sandy Guge, Kokomo; stepson, Tom Redmon, Houston, Texas; daughter, Debbie and husband Brian King, Greentown; daughter, Lou Ellen Brown, Oviedo, Fla.; brother, Larry and wife Sandy Laughner, Frankfort; four grandchildren, Brean King, Heather Brown, Andrew Brown and Conner Brown; four nieces and two nephews.

    He was preceded in death by a brother, Howard Laughner; and a sister, Ermal Congleton.

    Services are 10 a.m. Thursday at Ellers Mortuary, Main Street Chapel, 725 S. Main St.

    Burial will follow at Kokomo Memorial Park Cemetery.
