    Charles and his wife Minnie lived in Garfield Twp, Kosseth County,Iowa at the time of the 1900 Iowa Census.  They had four children, Frederic, Edna, Julius and Louise.  Charles worked on the farm of Gilbert S. and Sahra Wright. Sometime between this census and April, 1903 they moved to Waldo Twp., Richland County, North Dakota where they bought a farm.  His last four children were born there, Adeline, Albert, Walter and Wilhelm.  He stayed there until his death in 1934.  He is buried at the Emanual Luthern Cemetery in Hankinson, North Dakota.
