CHARLEY JORDON DEAD CHARLEY JORDON, son of Robert Jordan while working in the Johnson Cotton Gin last Friday got his arm caught in a Gin stand. It drew the whole arm in and sawed it to shreds. Dr. Watson, Riley, and Wade were immediately called. The flow of blood was stopped and amputation took place. The relapse from the shock to his system was so great that he could not recover and died within a few hours.

Burial took place Saturday. He was a good citizen and many friends mourn his departure and extend their sympathies to his bereaved wife and child.

Note: His wife was also 5 months Pregnant, The child was Charles Raymond Jordan and the baby she was caring was Clara Jordan.
