Charles owned a hardware store in Ft. Gibson, Muskogee Co, OK. Probate packet at Muskogee Co court house, Muskogee, OK Probate packet # 5685.

Charles owned a Hardware store in Ft. Gibson at the time of his death and his wife was in charge of probating this estate. He did not leave a will. Probate packet contains records of suppliers who were filing claim for unpaid invoices and shipments, requests from wife for living expenses, etc. Estate showed that Charles owned Lot #1, Block 88. Lot 1, Block 95 and Lot 5, Block 72 all in Ft. Gibson, OK. The final Report and Decreeing Heirship was filed 1 Sep 1933. It states that widow Genara Haas and son Fielding Haas (age 9) were the only heirs.

Also found in this packet is a filing from Cecilia Amanda Haas 1 Sep 1933 - requesting that Town Lots # 5 & 6 in block 83 in Ft. Gibson, OK be excluded from the Estate as they belong to her. The court agreed and excluded these lots from the estate.
