I solely swear that I was born at London, England on August sixteenth, 1868; that my father, William H. GREENWAY, was born in England and is now dead; that I emigrated to the United States, sailing from Liverpool about May 15th, 1869, that I resided 29 years, uninterruptedly, in the United States, from 1869 at Michigan; that I was naturalised as a citizen of the United States before the Superior Court of Kent County at Grand Rapids, Mich, on May 16th 1900 … [and] always resided in the United States since and … my permanent residence being at Detroit in the state of Michigan, where I follow the occupation of Publisher….
