Charles Adkins Fugate, 60, of 90 Thornapple Road, New Lebanon, died Sunday, March 1, at his home following a lengthy illness.
He was retired from Henny Penny Corp. in Eaton.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Fugate; two sons, David C. Fugate of Union and Donald Fugate, at home; one daughter, Denise Hammonds of Eaton; four grandchildren; three sisters, Mozella Cripps of West Alexandria, Dora McKinzie of New Lebanon and Irene Webb of Brookville; and six brothers, Grover Fugate of Florida, Herman Fugate of New Lebanon, Junior Fugate and Delno Fugate, both of Dayton, Hubert Fugate, of Eaton and Bob Fugate of Chicago, Ill.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Flaura Fugate; and three brothers, Paul, Carl and Bill Fugate.
Funeral services will be at 10a.m. Wednesday, March 4, at Rogers and Holp Funeral Home, New Lebanon, with Pastor James F. Black officiating. Burial will be in Sugar Grove Cemetery near New Lexington.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton.
