The tragic story of Charles Fox brother of our Benjamin (1800-1862). Charles for some reason stayed south of the River He became a miner in the North Somerset Coalfield and later a collier. He married in 1826......Then in a few years his life fell apart...He had four children....Then in just a few years his wife and three of them died, he remarried in 1834 but the second wife and their young child also died. Charles became blind and spent his last years as a blid pauper in the workhouse.
