DIED
On Sunday, the 16th inst., at the residence of one of his sons, at Mount Charles, in his 80th year, Mr. Charles Dunn, sen. The deceased had several sons and a daughter, who have settled in the province for several years, and who, by the blessing of Providence upon a persevering course of industry, having severally acquired a position of comfort and competency, were naturally desirous that their aged parents should participate in the temporal good they enjoyed. The deceased, with the aged partner of his joys and sorrows, arrived in the colony some four or five years ago by the Symmrtry(?), under the friendly care of Captain Elder, and have since sojourned with the respective members of their family as their inclination prompted them. His remains, which were borne to their final resting place in the churchyard of St. James', at Blakiston, by eight of his grandsons, were followed by about 40 descendants.
