Charles D. Dressler Charles D. Dressler Sr., 90 of 168 Tolbert St., Wadsworth, died Tuesday, June 12, 1979, at Crestview Nursing Home in Medina after a three-month illness. Mr. Dressler was born in Wadsworth and was a lifelong there. He retired in 1960 from the State Highway Department and previously owned and operated the Wadsworth Garage and North End Garage. He was a member of Grace Lutheran Church Wadswoth and the Democratic Club, and was active in politics and sports. He is survived by four sons, Wade E., Donald I. Sr. Wilson D. and Howard E. and two daughters, Mrs. Marion Yoder and Mrs. Helen Carvelli, all of Wadsworth; 11 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren and a sister, Miss Mattie M. Dressler of Wadsworth. Friends may call at the Hilliard-Cox Funeral Home, 174 N. Lyman St., Wadsworth, on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be Friday at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Henning B. Pearson officiating. The family suggests memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association.
