At the Carbon county fair last week there was on exhibition a small stationary engine built by a former Lehighton boy, Charles Dauxdater, of Slatington. The little engine was made by Charley during spare moments and is a monument of patience, ingenuity and skill and reflects much credit on him as a mechanic of no mean ability.
