    Charles Edward Crumrine Sr.
    February 8, 1937 — March 15, 2017
    Charles Edward Crumrine Sr., beloved husband of Elizabeth “Betsy” Crumrine (née Meyers) for 57 years and known by friends and family as “Chuck,” passed peacefully on March 15th at age 80. Loving father of Charles Edward Jr. “Kip” (Sandy) Crumrine, Mike Crumrine, and Carrie (Peter) Iverson. Devoted grandfather of Charles Edward III “Cody” (Holly) Crumrine, Tyler Crumrine, Luke (Andrea) Crumrine, and Emma and Michael Iverson. Caring great-grandfather of Charles Edward IV “Copper,” Simon, and Whittaker Crumrine. Chuck was born February 8, 1937 in Indiana, PA, the youngest of 8 siblings, who precede him in passing. Early in life his family moved to Cincinnati, where Chuck attended Hughes High School and was captain of the football team. He went on to play football on scholarship at University of Cincinnati, graduating in 1959 and marrying his high school sweetheart, Betsy, on August 29 of the same year. Throughout their marriage, Chuck and Betsy were active members of College Hill Presbyterian Church, avid golfers, and devoted friends to many. Known for his compassion & good humor, and a blessing to those around him, Chuck will be greatly missed.
