    In Nile, N.Y., October 24, 1895, of heart disease, Charles C. Crandall, aged 61 years, 6 months and 21 days.
    He was the fifth son of Samuel P. and Anna Crandall. In early life he experienced religion but was never connected with any church. Three sister and three brothers still live near the old home at Nile, and one brother, Ezra, lives at Milton, Wis.
