DEATH OF POLICE SERGEANT COOK - Sergeant Charles Cook of the police force, died last evening at his residence, No. 437 Fell street. The deceased, who was a native of New York and sixty-seven years of age, was appointed a member of the force in October, 185[?]9, and was removed during the McCoppin-Provine regime. During Chief E[?]s' term he was reinstated, and recently he was in charge of the new City Hall station.
