I remember Charlie who was a boy scout leader.I was thinking of Besch and our family connection. I remember Charlie Besch who lived on Leroy Avenue in Buffalo. The house number had to be in the 200 range. Next door to his place was the office, storage area, garage etc. for their construction company. I remember Charlie was a Boy Scout leader and even though I wasn’t a boy scout he allowed me to attend a scout campout. To this day remember this crazy song I leaned at the campout and sometimes I sing it and drive my kids hysterical with laughter. I recall him being a very large, very nice, very friendly guy, very easygoing, pipe-smoking guy, well liked by everyone. He always seemed to have a smile on his face. Just simply a nice guy. I would guess he’d have been born December 1893. He must be your grandfather or your great-uncle, right?
