Facts and Events
Found in 1910 census, age 27, single, boarder, no job listed. Colorado Springs, El Paso county, CO. Last name spelled Aurenspiger. Person listed above this individual was Rose Frank, age 26. Charles Johnson Arnspiger In the 1900 census of Fayette county, Kentucky Charles is listed as Charley in the home of Richard and Nellie Arnspiger age 16. In the 1910 census Charles is listed as a boarder in Colorado Springs, El Paso County, CO. He is listed as 27, not employed and single. Listed just above him in the census is Rose Frank, female, age 26, born in Missouri. Is this a coincidence or is this a clue? Charles married Elsie Mae Franks in 1916 in New Mexico. I found Elsie May Frank in the 1910 census in Espanola, Rio Arriba New Mexico. Her father is listed as Albert Frank, age 69 and mother Jennie Frank age 31. The census indicates this is a second marriage for Albert Frank and a first marriage for Jennie. There are five children listed and Jennie is the mother of these five children. The record indicates the couple had been married for 15 years. I have been unable to find Albert Frank in any of the previous census records. He should be in Colorado in 1900 especially since a son George born 1899/1900 was listed as born in Colorado. However I am unable to find the family. References
