ELIOT - Chandler Emery Spinney, 86, of Old Road, died at his home yesterday. A native and life-long resident of Eliot, he was born July 22, 1877, the son of the late Marshall L. and Olive J. (Pickernell) Spinney. For many years he was in charge of the Dr. Willis farm on Old Road, Eliot. He was a charter member of John F. Hill Grange and in 1952 he received the 50-year Golden Sheaf Certificate of the National Grange. Besides his widow, Mrs. Cora A. (Randall) Spinney, he is survived by two nieces, a nephew and two step-daughters, Miss Anna Marshall of Eliot and Mrs. Paul B. Furbush of Santa Rosa, Calif.
