Celestia Haley remains a mystery, despite what we know of her. Her father, Joshua Haley, seems to have been born in Rhode Island and have relocated to Worthington Mass, where he married Harty Herrick. Celestia had a number of brothers and sisters. Her brother Franklin was born in Massachusetts, but the rest of the Haley children were born in Ohio. Celestia was born in Mantua. Celestia died at 45 of consumption, just three years after her son Clark married Permelia Dusenbury. Anson Perkins married Annette Knapp in June of 1892
