Cecil QUANT, 57, of 1917 North West, died Monday in a Topeka hospital.
He was born April 2, 1900, in the Wanamaker District west of Topeka and was a lifelong resident of the Topeka community.
He was a member of the Seaman Community Church and a veteran of World War I. He was an employee of the circulation department of The Capper Publications.
He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Vera M. Quant of the home; a daughter, Mrs. Mildred BERRY of the home; a sister, Mrs. Ruby LONG, Leavenworth; and two brothers, Leslie Quant, Owings Mills, Md., and Ralph Quant, Topeka.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Parker Mortuary with burial in Rochester Cemetery.
