Cecil Muskett and his wife lived on Bruny Island from approximately 1960 onwards and ran the old Adventure Bay Store until they retired. They built a house next door to the shop which they lived in until Cecil died. His death was from a sudden heart attack which happened while holiday with Bert and Dorothy Brown in Newport, NSW.
