LEDINGTON, Cecil Born November 3, 1931 in Barbourville, Kentucky went home to be with his Lord and Saviour on November 29, 2015. He was a US Army, Korean War Veteran and served his country from 1952-1954. He was the devoted husband of Shirley (Venerable) Ledington to whom he was married for 59 years. He owned and operated Ledington Painting Service for 45 years. He loved fishing and camping with his sons as well as spending quality time with his family. Some of his favorite pastimes was feeding and watching the birds and squirrels as well as reading his Bible daily. He is survived by his wife Shirley and four sons, Timothy Ledington, Martin (Teresa) Ledington, Gregory (Cindy) Ledington, Mitchell (Ronda) Ledington, and five daughters, Connie (Mark) Burton, Jill (Tony) Jones, Becky (Fred) Turner, Peggy (Dennis) Collier and Pam. Grandchildren Kristina, Lauren, Josh, Jenna, Cody, Gil, Leah, David, Sarah, Megan, Tony, Elisabeth, Timmy, Tori and great grandchildren Savannah, Bella, Emma, Dominic, William, Cecilia, Simon, Ezra, Bailey. Brother, Creed Ledington, and two sisters, Janie Thompson and Amanda Miracle. Cecil was preceded in death by his mother Rose Conner and his father Claude Ledington. Funeral Service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home on Saturday, December 5, 2015 at 12 Noon with Rev. Bryan Price and Rev. James Mullins officiating. Burial will follow at Butler County Memorial Park. Visitation will be held Saturday from 10-12 noon at the funeral home. Condolences may be sent to www.browndawsonflick.com
