OBITUARY - POINT PLEASANT REGISTER (1979) Death Reported Word has been received of the death of a former resident of Point Pleasant, Mrs. Catherine L. Plants, 66, who died Jan. 26 at her home in Newark, Ohio. She was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene, Newark. She was born to Charles and Mary Williams on March 26, 1913, Granville, Ohio. Her husband, Paul Plants Sr. preceded her in death January of 1970. She is survived by one son Paul Plants, Jr.; a daughter, Mrs. Thomas (Janet) Cronin, Newark; nine-grandchildren; five brothers and three sisters. Services were held at the Nazarene Church on Wednesday with Rev. James V. Line officiating. Burial was in the Cedar Hill Cemetery. Criss Brother's Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
