22 Mar 1906, p2 - Levi Crull was called here from Raleigh by the death of his mother, Mrs. Catherine Willitts. Mrs. Willitts, who was aged 74 years, has been an invalid for several months. She was married to Nelson Willitts in 1878, her first marriage being to Gideon Crull who deceased. By her first marriage she leaves four children. She leaves her aged husband, Nelson Willitts, who is not only helpless but blind, and four step children. Mr. and Mrs. Willitts recently united with the Christian church at Milton, and being unable to leave their home, the baptismal service was conducted at the home by Rev. McCormick. The funeral services were held at the Franklin church, east of Milton, Wednesday afternoon, the Dunkard minister, Rev. Teeter, of Hagerstown, officiating. Interment at that cemetery.
