OBIT-THE DERRICK- Oil City, PA; Monday Feb. 15, 1960--MRS. WALSH 81, SUCCUMBS IN HOSPITAL- Mrs. Margaret Walsh, 81, widow of John Walsh, died in Oil City Hospital at 10:40 pm, Saturday, following a short illness. She had made her home with her daughter, Mrs. Willard Rodgers of 10 Mineral Street. Mrs. Walsh was the daughter of the late Patrick and Mary Scott Moffatt. She was born in Brachin (sic) Ontario. Oct. 25 1878 and came to Oil City when a child. She had made her home here ever since. Mrs. Walsh was a member of St. Stephen Church and the Rosary Society of that church. Surviving are her daughter, Mrs. Rodgers, a sister-in-law, Mrs. Emma Moffatt of Erie, one niece and several nephews. A brother, John P. Moffatt, died in 1955, and another brother died last year.... High Mass of requiem will be celebrated in St. Stephen Church at 10 am Tuesday. Interment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.
