Notes for CATHERINE MARCILLE (MARCILE K.) HIPSKIND: LAFONTAINE - K. Marcile Schetzsle, 87, formerly of 740 Manchester Ave., died at 12:20 a.m. Monday, Oct. 14, 2002, at Rolling Meadows Health Care Center.

She was born on July 11, 1915, in Wabash, to Murland and Laura (Morris) Hipskind. She married Leonard G. Schetzsle on June 11, 1943, in Wabash. He died on June 28, 1987.

Mrs. Schetzsle was the office supervisor at Hamer Printing for 25 years. She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church, Wabash, serving as treasurer for 25 years. She was a former 25-year member of the Wabash Business & Professional Women's Club and was a member of the Wabash Chapter AARP.

Surviving are a son, LaVon (Ellen) Way, Claypool; three grandchildren, Pastor Gregory A. Way, Waco, Texas, Anthony K. Way, Wabash, and Yvonne M. Biehl, Twelve Mile; six great-grandchildren; two stepgreat-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and two stepgreat-great-grandchildren. A brother is deceased.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Grandstaff-Hentgen Manchester Avenue Chapel. Burial will be in Falls Cemetery.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
