Catherine Cornelia Keyes, aged 89, passed away at her home 2915 Victor street, Tuesday evening, April 17, (1934) following a long illness. Mrs. Keyes had been a resident of this city for the past sixteen years, previous to which time she resided at Mayville, N. Y., where she was a member of the M. E. church and a past matron of the O.E.S. Deceased is survived by the following: One son Dr. W. C. Keyes, of Bellingham; one son Dr. M. A. Keyes, Blaine; one son, E. B. Keyes, Oakland, Cal.; one brother, Albert M. Burnett, Mayville, N. Y.; twelve grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Private funeral services were conducted at the Harlow-Hollingsworth Funeral Home by the Rev. Thomas W. Jeffrey, pastor of the Garden Street M. E. church, Thursday, April 19, at 1:30 p.m. Burial followed in Bay View cemetery.
