Parentage

Catherine Black appears to be a likely daughter of Henry Black and his wife Catherine. Her [likely] brother John Black married 2nd to Mary "Polly" Hogshead [a cousin to this Catherine's husband David Hogsdead] in 1812, which appears to provide circumstantial support for this suspected relationship.
