    QUAY 3 "...Mrs. Mahoney, died in Toronto on Friday September 14, in her 77th year. Mrs. Mahoney, whose maiden name was Mary C. Bethune, was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. A. Bethune, of Brechin, wher e she spent her girlhood and attended school..
    Fifty-one years ago she united in marriage to the late Thomas Mahoney and for half a century resided in Gravenhurst. Her late husband was in the grocery business at Gravenhurst for 30 years. Their o ldest son, Charles, resides in Gravenhurst, and for a short while succeeded his father in the grocery business until a few months ago. The funeral was held from St. Paul's church, Gravenhurst, on Mon day, Septermber 17...burial taking place in Uptergrove Cem. beside her husband.'
