When I decrypt the age on the headstone of 84y8m17d it calculates as Tuesday December 25, 1781 as the date she was born. My records indicate January 17, 1782. Why do they do that anyway? It is never right.
Her husband is George J. Nease #22441841, my 5th cousin 5 times removed. He is buried in the Saint James Lutheran Church Cemetery, Saint James, Greene County, Tennessee. They came to Greene County from Virginia in about 1802 and Catherine left Tennessee after George died.
